  • Can I get a refuse in entering Singapore with a valid visa?

  • Do you register visas to non-residents (passport of a foreigner) of Estonia and Latvia?

  • The popular question as there is a lot of confusion: transit through Singapore to Bali and other islands. Do I need a visa?

  • Who has the right to accompany the minor child and what are the requirements for that?

    Accompany the child can any adult, not necessarily related with him of her.

    As for transit, and for the usual entry to Singapore it is necessary to have a child’s passport (or photo and data pasted in the passport of the accompanying person), and a visa, if required.

  • What are the requirements for obtaining a visa for taking a baby to Singapore? Do I need a separate passport?

    To obtain a visa it does not matter, the child is in the parent’s passport or his/her personal passport. The fact that a visa is not issued for a passport, but for a person. For example, my mother is flying to Singapore with their two children, and the children entered in her passport. One document and the applications for visas are three. So, the mother will receive an electronic visa for herself and two visas for two children. So, she needs to pay for three visas. Be sure to specify to which of the parents the child is registered in the passport and send a scanned copy of the passport page.

  • Can I pay for the visa with a credit card of my sister / brother / friend?

    Paying through PayPal, You can use almost any credit card. Card owner's name may be different from the name of a person who applied for a visa.

  • Do I need to be registered in the PayPal system, to make a payment?

    No, do not. You can pay as a guest without having to open an account with PayPal. Just enter the address to which the credit card is registered, phone number (without a "+", instead use "00"), and Your email address.

  • What is the validity term of a Singapore visa?

    A visa is a multiple, 9-week. This means that the visa allows multiple entries into the country for nine weeks from the date of issuing the visa. Remember that the period of each stay in Singapore cannot exceed more than 30 days for each entry.

  • Do I need papers from work, hotel reservation, insurance, tickets for a visa?

    No, the papers from work, hotel reservation, insurance, tickets for a visa are not required!

  • What documents are required to obtain a visa to Singapore?

    To obtain a visa you must:

    • Complete an application for each applicant, including children entered in the passport of the parent;
    • Attach a scanned copy of the information page of the passport (photo page). The passport must be at least 6 months valid at the time of entry. The passport must have a blank page for the stamp;
    • Attach color photos for each applicant. Photo must be made on a light background (You can simply take a picture on a mobile phone against a white wall).
  • Is it necessary to provide a passport for a visa?

    No, good enough to send a copy of the information page of the passport.

    From 1st December 2009 visa in Singapore is not pasted in the passport. A visa is issued by the Department of Migration and Control of Singapore in PDF format with an individual identification number. You need to print it on A4 paper and show it on the border control with Your passport and completed immigration card.
